Please note :-

a) the format of each lesson is the same and this gives each pupil a sense of security.

b) three parallel tests are supplied to determine the point at which each pupil or group of pupils should enter the programme.

c) each lesson teaches one new sound and ten words using that sound. No other letter, blend, digraph or word is used unless it has been taught in previous lessons.

d) one new irregular word is introduced at the beginning of each ‘A’ lesson.
